Hungary opposes automatic extension of anti-Russian sanctions
BUDAPEST, May 25 (PRIME) -- Hungary is against an automatic decision to prolong anti-Russian sanctions, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said Wednesday following talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
“We were talking about the issue of sanctions, Hungary is interested in the implementation of the Minsk agreements as soon as possible. We will not definitely accept an automatic procedure to prolong the sanctions. We want a discussion at a high political level,” he said.
